If you are given the adventurer job in one of the Slave Cities, you are equipped with basic gear and sent to locations the High Guard have scouted that could contain valuable objects that the Elves don't wish to risk entering or losing life too, so the responsibility is passed down to those in captivity. These quests are sorted into two tiers, High and Low Value. Low Value quests are usually pretty safe and have little to no threat against those who partake in them, however everything is subject to change at a moments notice. However when it comes to High Value quests, a rumor has been passed around these quests are a secret way the elves execute someone without causing a panic, as these missions are usually so dangerous, nobody returns alive from them.
